A CYCLIST has died after being hit by a lorry in Central London this morning.
The male rider, whose age is unknown, was struck at about 9.30am.

Emergency services raced to the site in High Holborn but cops said the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shocked office workers posted pictures of the large response to the incident online.
Witnesses reported seeing the cyclist under the lorry with paramedics performing CPR.
The busy road was cordoned off as an air ambulance landed nearby.
Police said no arrests were made and efforts continue to trace the man’s next of kin.

NBC reporter Bill Neely tweeted that around 13 police cars and 24 officers arrived immediately.
High Holborn was closed following the crash which took place at the junction with Newton Street.
TfL confirmed the road would be closed for a number of hours.
