Experiential travel company BEYOND, in collaboration with wildlife broadcasting company WildEarth, is providing users with a front-row seat to experience three-hour safari game drives twice a day from their Ngala Private Game Reserve and Djuma Private Game Reserve in a project called WILDWatch Live.
The virtual safari footage can be seen between 6 and 9 am CAT (sunrise dependent), and 3:30 and 6:30 pm CAT (sunset dependent), which translates to between 9 pm and 12 am PDT, and 6:30 am to 9:30 am PDT.
Additionally, users can tune into @andBeyondTravel on Instagram for footage of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve where expert guides will be posting any sightings that they come across.
“Hosted by expert BEYOND and WildEarth field guides, the drives will be streamed over a variety of social media platforms each day during the month of April.”
The safaris will feature footage from three or four live fe via a director in a control room to provide viewers with the best collection of wildlife action as it happens, “creating a seamless multi-feed virtual game drive.”
“Parents can sign up their children by selecting a date on wildearth.tv/kids. Children (or parents) can then email [email protected] for age-appropriate and personalized responses.”
