ArtSpring 2019: Metamorphosis gala
The New Mexico School for the Arts invites the public to its fundraising gala event on Friday and its yearly spring celebration and collaboration with theater, dance, music (vocal and instrumental, visual arts and creative writing.)

Gala tickets include preferred seating at the performance, followed by a reception at the El Dorado Hotel, 309 W.
San Francisco St., dinner and dancing.

Performances on Friday and Saturday are at 7:30 p.m.

AspenCash Motorcycle Rally
The 22nd annual AspenCash Motorcycle Rally takes place Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.
m. to 7 p.
m. and on Sunday from 9 a.
m. to 2 p.
m. The rally features a poker run and a large trade show.
The Saturday parade starts at 10 a.m.
running through midtown, concluding at the Ruidoso Convention Center. The AspenCash Motorcycle Rally will feature stunt shows throughout the entire rally.

at the East Day Use area.
Walks along the dam will be from 11 a.
m. to 2 p.
m. at the west entrance to the dam.
Vendors, food trucks and educational programs will be at the East Day Use area from 8:30 a.m.
to 2 p.m.
Boating safety games will be at the East Day Use area from 3 to 4 p.m.
A live band will be playing there from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mayfair Juried Art Show
Following the festival at 7:30 p.m.
Veterans, families and the public are invited to attend. This will be the second state veterans cemetery developed by DVS as part of a State Veterans Cemetery Initiative to build veterans cemeteries in rural areas of the state.

Street Dance Concert
The Flickinger Center for Performing Arts presents its third annual Street Dance Concert and Cookout.
The cookout takes place at Patron’s Hall at 6 p.m.
From 8:30 to 11 p.
The public is encouraged to dress up retro in ‘50s and ‘70s style. There will be a silent auction, vintage art, swing demos and dance contests in waltz, swing and Latin dances.
The annual judged outdoor car show takes place at 10:30 a.m.
Trophy presentation is at 3:30 p.m.
