Want to know more about taking photos on an African safari? Here’s a program for you

Deborah Seibly and Christine Pence will present a program on “Photographing Africa” when Redlands Camera Club meets 7 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Redlands First Presbyterian Church, 100 Cajon St.

Seibly and Pence, both members of Redlands Camera Club, will  tips and images from their experiences on photo outings and safaris in Africa. Seibly has made two trips to Africa, and Pence’s experiences in Africa include rafting and photographing mountain gorillas.

Their program will cover what an African safari is like and what camera equipment is recommended. They will also discuss what’s possible with a camera on safari — and what’s not — and why Africa should be on one’s short list of photo destinations.

Redlands Camera Club meets 7-9 p.m. the first and third Monday of every month at Redlands First Presbyterian Church.
